An inspection is useful if you have just moved in, if a neighbour has mentioned ticks, or if you are not sure whether the ticks are coming from the garden or from inside. During the inspection, the crew checks the places where ticks and the animals that carry them tend to gather.

- Kennels, pet beds and dog resting spots
- Skirting boards and door frames inside
At the end, the crew explains which type of tick is likely involved, which parts of the property carry the most risk and what they would treat. They can also point out simple changes, like cutting back ground cover or moving a woodpile, that make the yard less inviting to ticks. You then decide whether to go ahead.
